Case Management: Deactivate a duplicate person

In this article, we explain how to deactivate a person in Case Management if they are set up twice.

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Find and select the duplicate Person Record.​

  2. Scroll down to Invalid Record and select Edit.​

  3. Select Yes next to Duplicate Record and fill in Duplicate of Sys Ref with the original - the one you wish to keep.​

  4. Select Actions at the top and Lock Person.

This person will now become deactivated and cannot be added to the Case Management fields.
