SEN Desktop Census Report
The Census report menu item enables you, subject to permissions, to run the SEN2 person-level report and generate the XML in the format required for COLLECT. Child records that have an Assessment finishing in the census year, starting in the census year or are due for review in the census year will be included in the report. β
πNote: Before running the report, the Census export file location must be specified in Synergy Client, System Manager, Options, Common, Reports.
From the Synergy Case Management Desktop menu, click SEN Desktop.β
Click the Census Report menu item.β
To set the Census Date and define the status of the Designated Clinical Officer and Medical Officer, click Edit within the Report Details pane.β
By default, the date will show as the third Thursday in January, but it can be overridden if required. Enter the Census Date or click the calendar icon to open the date picker and click the required date.β
Click the status of the Designated Clinical Officer from the drop-down list.β
Click the status of the Designated Medical Officer from the drop-down list.β
Click Update.
If a census report has been generated, the banner below the Report Details pane will display the date and the file name. β
Before running the report, a check needs to be run to check for errors in the eligible child records, such as missing UPN numbers or missing postcodes.Click Check to run a check on all eligible children.β
The number of eligible children will be listed, and information will be displayed, providing the number of errors. Child records containing errors will display a person icon with a strikethrough. Errors will need to be cleared, and then the eligible children recalculated.
Select the Show Errors check box to display the errors against each child record.
Clicking the Code View icon enables you to view the child XML snippet.β
Click the person icon or system reference link to access the child record and enter the missing data.β
Click Check to recalculate the eligible children.β
Click Run to run the report.
