Receive your details

Once we've done the necessary changes, we'll send the details to you via Ssshh, and we'll send the pass key via email. You'll also receive a case comment informing you that we've sent the email.

Ssshh process

Once you've got the link, follow these simple steps.

🤓 Tip: If you're not received your validation code, check your email spam folder.

  1. Enter the provided link into Google.

  2. Enter the decryption pass key sent to you via email.

  3. Save your credentials and log in with the temporary password.

  4. When you see the prompt, change your password.

If you can't access the Ssshh link

If you're receiving an error message, it usually means that your local internet security measures are blocking access to the site or link location.

To resolve this, speak to your local IT team and ask them to whitelist ssshh.accesshosting.co.uk

Once they whitelist the URL, you'll be able to access the link.

Apply your credentials

Now that you have your username and temporary password, you’ll need to load up the Synergy Client Portal and change your details.

New password criteria

When creating your new password, it must contain the following details.

⚠️ Warning: Do not put # and @ next to each other as this can cause errors and prevent you from logging in.

  • 14 characters in length.

  • A capital letter.

  • A number.

  • A unique character such as @ !, ?, %, ÂŁ, etc.

  • Nothing related to your name, email, or username.

Change your details

To start changing your details, follow these simple steps.

  1. Open the Synergy Client Portal.

  2. Enter your username and temporary password.

  3. When prompted, click the here link in the message.

  4. Enter your new password details and confirm them using the password criteria section.

Once you've finished, the fields will be cleared and you'll receive either a confirmation message or an error detailing where your information was incorrect.

Troubleshooting issues

Occasionally, you may run into issues when changing account details. We’ve compiled a list of common issues and how to correct them.

Entered user details, but can’t log in

This usually indicates that your username or password isn’t correct. Check the following:

  • You’re signing into Synergy, not a Windows security pop-up.

  • You’re entering the correct details and not the validation code into the password box, for example.

  • You don’t have any spaces in front of or behind the username or password.

  • You have the correct capitalization for your username and password.

  • You’re logging in within 90 days of your last login. If that’s longer, your account has been deactivated.

New password is being rejected

Check that your new password meets the password criteria mentioned above. You need to see the message ‘Your password has been changed successfully’ for a new password to be used.

New account doesn’t have a specific module or security group

We apply the module noted in the initial request. Access is granted by your local system administrator.
