When you need to update your addresses for new wards, you can do this by importing address files.
β οΈ Important: There can be issues using a mix of both AddressBase and Local or National Land Property Gazetteer files, we recommend using one type.
Ask your usual address supplier for updated files linking addresses to the new ward codes.
Import the address files
The files should contain the ward codes but not the ward names; you'll need to add these.
In Synergy Client, click System Manager.
Click Lookup Editor, then in the search, enter Ward.
Add the new wards to the list.
Your new wards match on these addresses going forward, leaving any previous matched on the old wards.
Update all addresses
If you want to update all addresses, you'll need to do a batch address match.
π Note: This process takes a very long time and you'll need to leave the page open while it's running.

To get started, follow these simple steps.
In Admissions, click Address Matching, then click Batch Address Matcher.
At the bottom of the page, clear the Do not include Matched Addresses checkbox.
This rematches previously matched addresses to update their ward.
