You may come across this error in your admissions if the schools are using difference calculations for distance. For example, one is using shortest walking distance, and one is using straight line distance.
Check the calculation type
To check the calculation type for your impacted school, follow these simple steps.
Open Admissions, then double-click the school.
Click the GIS/Misc tab and check the Distance Calculation Type field.
Bulk change the calculation type
If you've found that schools in your system are using the wrong calculation type, you can bulk change them to the correct one.
To get started, follow these simple steps.
Open Admissions, then click Batch Update Procedures.
Click GIS, then click Set School Distance Type Default.
