You can add detailed inspection outcomes to provider records following Ofsted's new framework. The new structure records outcomes across seven evaluation areas, giving you a complete picture of each provider's inspection results.
β οΈImportant: To add inspection outcomes, you need FIS Administrator permissions.
Steps:
Open the provider's registration record in FIS.
Click the Ofsted tab.
In the Inspection History table, click the + button to add a new inspection.
Complete the inspection details:
Inspection Type
Date of the inspection
Published Date if available
Link to Report (optional)
Click Save.
Select the newly added inspection row by clicking the row header.
The Inspection Areas and Outcomes table becomes active below.
Click the + button in the Outcomes table.
Select the Area from the dropdown (e.g., Achievement, Curriculum and teaching).
Select the Outcome judgement (e.g., Strong Standard, Expected Standard).
Click Save.
Repeat steps 8-11 for each evaluation area from the inspection.
πNote: Once an inspection has a Published Date, the outcomes become read-only to protect Ofsted-sourced data from accidental changes.
